The World Health Day is acknowledged by various governments and non-governmental organizations with interests in public health issues, who also organize activities and highlight their support in media reports.
The capital city of Kyrgyzstan hosted a flash mob of old ladies who wanted to draw public attention to the problems of youth.
This year, Kyrgyzstan marks this day under the motto “Defeat the Diabetes!”.
