Immortal Regiment attracts over 20,000 Kyrgyzstanis
Immortal Regiment in Bishkek attracted more than 20,000 people. Relatives and friends were carrying portraits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) to honor them, claiming "No One is Forgotten, Nothing is Forgotten."
Immortal Regiment was initially established in Russia in 2012 to honor the Great Patriotic War veterans. The action has been taken up by Belarus, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and many other countries.
