Gas station explodes in Issyk-Kul, 2 killed
2 were killed and 8 others were injured as a gas station in the village of Ananievo in the Issyk-Kul region has exploded on Monday evening, the authorities said.
On of the victims is a child, according to unconfirmed reports.
The incident occurred at around 6 pm on June 19, the Ministry of Emergencies said.
The explosion occurred during gas pumping, Turmush correspondent reported.
Following the incident, Prime Minister Sooronbai Jeenbekov tasked the Government to carry out thorough investigation of the circumstances.
